THE PIG - AUSTRALIA

Don Carolis & Sons (Pvt) Ltd was selected as the exclusive furniture manufacturing partner for The Pig, a boutique hospitality concept in Australia known for its rustic charm, farm-to-table cuisine, and warm, vintage-inspired interiors. The project aimed to create an environment that felt both authentic and refined, combining sustainable materials with classic craftsmanship.

Working closely with the Australian design team, Don Carolis was tasked with manufacturing custom furniture that reflected The Pig’s distinctive brand identity — blending heritage aesthetics with modern comfort.

Scope of Work:

  • Dining Area: Custom-designed dining tables, farmhouse-style chairs, benches, and communal tables crafted from solid hardwood with hand-finished textures.

  • Lounge & Bar Spaces: Upholstered armchairs, rustic bar stools, coffee tables, and custom cabinetry designed to create an intimate, cozy ambiance.

Marriott Bay Resort & Spa - Weligama

The Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa, a five-star beachfront property in Sri Lanka’s Southern Province, is known for its modern luxury, breathtaking ocean views, and refined hospitality. Don Carolis & Sons (Pvt) Ltd was honored to be selected as a key furnishing partner, tasked with supplying custom-designed furniture and woodwork for this landmark international hotel development.

The goal was to meet Marriott’s global design standards while incorporating subtle local elements that reflect Sri Lanka’s coastal charm and craftsmanship.

Scope of Work:

  • Guestrooms & Suites: Full fit-out of bedrooms and living areas with beds, side tables, credenzas, desks, lounge chairs, and wardrobes—all custom-built to Marriott specifications.

Durdans Hospital, one of Sri Lanka’s leading private healthcare institutions, embarked on a major upgrade to its facilities to enhance patient care and experience. Don Carolis & Sons (Pvt) Ltd was selected to provide custom-designed hospital furniture and interior woodwork that aligned with strict healthcare standards while maintaining a clean, calming, and professional environment.

The project required a focus on functionality, hygiene, and durability, while also ensuring a warm and welcoming design for both patients and visitors.

AMAYA HILLS - KANDY

Situated amidst the scenic hills of Kandy, Amaya Hills is a premier luxury hotel that blends traditional Kandyan architecture with modern hospitality standards. Don Carolis & Sons (Pvt) Ltd was selected as the furnishing partner to revamp and upgrade the hotel’s interiors, reflecting elegance, cultural richness, and comfort.

The Taj Samudra Hotel in Colombo, a flagship luxury property under the prestigious Taj Hotels Group, underwent a significant renovation to elevate its interiors to world-class standards. Sifani Jewellers

The Maldives boutique of Sifani Jewellers, exquisitely designed by the renowned interiors firm Don Carolis, brings a sophisticated island charm to the world of fine jewellery. Nestled amidst the serene beauty of the Maldives, the boutique is a harmonious fusion of tropical elegance and luxurious craftsmanship.

Inspired by its coastal setting, the interior design reflects a light, airy aesthetic, with an emphasis on natural textures and fluid spatial flow.
